Satan destroyed: God’s CURSE on Canaan is a Messianic PROPHECY | Genesis 9:25-27

Today on #CrackYourBible, we’re talking about how the curse on Canaan, better known as the “Curse of Ham” was actually a prophetic reminder to Satan how God would restore the world and that Satan and his minions would be subservient to both God and God’s people. From the lines of Shem and Japheth, we see a coming together of Jews and Gentiles to patiently wait for the promised Messiah.

✝️ *From the Bible we know that:*
• Canaan will be a slave to his brothers. Japheth will dwell in the tents of Shem. Genesis 9:26-27
• A record of the descendants of Noah’s sons is listed. Genesis 10
• Satan tried to convince Adam & Eve to usurp God in the Garden of Eden. Genesis 3:2-5
• Satan tried to corrupt humanity by sleeping with fallen angels and Nephilim. Genesis 6:1-4
• “Jew or Greek” means “Jew or Gentile.” Galatians 3:28
• Tents are symbolic of temporary homes and waiting for Jesus’ reign. Hebrews 11:8-10
• Demons submit to us in the name of Jesus. Luke 10:17-20
• Satan is our enemy. 1 Peter 5:8
• Satan will be a like a footstool to Jesus. Psalm 110:1-4
