Join me this evening at 8:00 PM (California time) to discuss the meaning of Isaiah 19:19, which speaks of a time when "there will be an altar to Jaho(h)-ah in the land of Egypt."

It is well known that Charles T. Russell, the founder of what is today called "The Watchtower," distributed by Jehovah's Witnesses, believed the Great Pyramid of Giza provided a "Bible in stone," revealing the "Plan of the Ages" (later, "Divine Plan of the Ages") according to Millennial Dawn / Studies in the Scriptures Volume 1.

In Russell's view, the Great Pyramid was a "Witness to all these events of the ages and of our day" (from "Things You Ought to Know" early promotional material published by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society). Russell also believed it was the "altar" in the land of Egypt and "one of God's Witnesses (Isaiah 19:19, 20)."--Millennial Dawn, Volume 2, The Time is At Hand (1889), page 366.

While Jehovah's Witnesses have for a long time rejected Russell's views about the Great Pyramid, was Russell correct? Or is there another object which better fits with the description of God's "altar" and "witness" in the land of Egypt according to Isaiah 19:19-20? Join me to discuss the evidence.
