The lesson chronicles the events surrounding God's Prophet, Elijah and the unnamed widowed woman. It is a story of the directive from God to obey the call in the midst of severe circumstances while activating a strong level of faith.

Elijah is called to meet the woman in the headquarters of the idol worshippers of Baal, known as the god of rain ,even though their was a drought. The widow woman is going set up near the gates of the city. Little does she know, that God ordered her steps to be in the right place at the right time.
