While witchcraft is certainly a deadly activity, it’s important to note that modern-day “witch hunts” are unacceptable – do not use the information in this broadcast to seek out witches under every rock. Rather, look for the practice of witchcraft in your own life. Ask yourself if you are manipulating, intimidating,
or dominating someone yourself. Conversely, ask yourself if someone is trying to put you under their spell.

Witchcraft began in heaven when Lucifer rebelled against God and His authority (Isaiah 14: 12- 14). The word witchcraft is a combination of two words: “witch” (which means “to bend”) and “craft” (which means “deceit”). Thus, the compound meaning of witchcraft is “deception that makes one bend.” Witchcraft, therefore, is rooted in lies.
