Today's account, well how can I put it, it's just not one of the popular ones. It doesn't sit well with some of the popular narratives for God - it reveals great fear coming upon the Church. People give in to the offering and then die - not really a happy clappy story at all.

And yet, in times of Church Reset, this account speaks straight into the heart of 21st century church - pointing out what it takes to be living the the rest of God's wide-open space that he has called us into.
