Pastor Kevin continues with God’s command that the Jews were to only perform sacrificial services at the place, and in the way, that God prescribed.

Using parallel passages in the books of Kings and Chronicles, Kevin shows examples of when kings refused to obey this command and instead allowed the people to worship as they saw fit at the high places they had established throughout the land. It was this false-god worship that led to the destruction of Israel and Judah when God’s judgment fell on their capital cities and people.

Is there a modern day equivalent of this disobedience in the New Testament church? Are there “high places” in your life? If so, are you going to repent while there is still time?
