In the Old testament, God punished the Israelites for turning away from Him to seek false gods. Today, many Christians continue to turn away from God and continue in their sin, because they know God is such a forgiving and loving Heavenly Father. This is WRONG!. God wants us to turn away from our sin, and live lives pleasing in His sight.
