Today's Verse - Deuteronomy 28:2 (NKJV)


When it comes to all that we’ve been promised in
Christ, what are you submitting to and what are you resisting?
If you’re wondering what to resist, read Deuteronomy 28. The first 14 verses list the blessings we are entitled to. Those are yours, and that’s what you should submit to. The remaining verses list the curses, and that’s what you are empowered to resist.
We submit to the blessings of God and resist the curses. How? You’re doing it right now by doing devotions! You’re submitting to time spent learning about His Word. You submit to Him when you spend time in His presence, when you listen to great teaching, when you worship Him and when you hang out with people who believe what you believe. Don’t hang around with people who bring doubt into your life. Get around people who will encourage you and believe with you that Jesus is the King over whatever you’re facing.
The power of positive resistance is so amazing. We are empowered to rise up against sickness, disease and anything else that comes against the promises of God. A"er all, we are the church of Jesus Christ and no weapon formed against us will prosper!
You can be healed. You can be set free. It doesn’t matter how old you are or what you’re facing. Moses set the goal, saying that at 120 your eyes should still be healthy and all your natural forces should be still be strong. Don’t ever submit to sickness. Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee, along with all his lies and everything he tries to get you to accept into your life.
