Hello everyone & welcome to the 16th video devotional in the series for Utica United Methodist Church! My name is Bro. Mark Adkins & I am the Lay Supply Pastor for Utica United Methodist Church.

Our church is currently studying through the Gospel of Luke as we look forward to holidays of Black Friday & Easter Sunday - when we celebrate the death & resurrection of Jesus Christ. To help us on this journey, we are following Luke's account of the life & ministry of Jesus.

Today, we continue our focus on one of the major themes of the Gospel of Luke: The Parables of Jesus! This week, we are looking at what is arguably one of the most famous parables that Jesus ever gave: The Prodigal Son! This story comes from Luke 15: 11 - 32 & asks an important question: "how does God respond to the repentant?"
