Familiarity can be a faith-killer: we think we “know” Jesus, so when He doesn’t match our expectations, we start rewriting Him to fit our assumptions ????????.
That’s confirmation bias in spiritual form—“this verse applies to most people, but my situation is different,” especially around forgiveness, purity, and hard teachings ????⚠️.
And it all comes down to one choice: do I create my own Jesus… or let Jesus create me? ✝️????
