Apostle Peter bore witness that “He (Jesus) himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed” (1 Peter 2:24). Isaiah had prophesied hundreds of years before Jesus’ work on the cross the same fact: “By his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5). Not only did God design all of creation to heal, but Jesus paid for the infirmities of mankind through His sacrificially shed blood. It doesn’t mean we don’t face health challenges, but the God we worship is a God who restores, renews crowns your life with love and compassion. Being a Christ-follower and sitting in church doesn’t mean everything is easy, but we can believe in a God who heals!
