Trinitarian scholars often mistranslate Philippians 2:6 as “the nature of God” rather than “the form of God” because of their Trinitarian bias. While many Trinitarian scholars affirm the meaning of a pre-incarnate nature emptying Himself in Philippians 2:6, many other Trinitarian scholars affirm that Philippians 2:6 must mean “the form of God” as a post incarnational visible form rather than as a pre-incarnate invisible nature. Therefore Dr. Edward Dalcour erred when he said that “all scholars … are on my side” regarding the meaning of Philippians 2:6 because many scholars do not support his idea of a timeless pre-incarnate nature emptying himself to become a man.
