What did Jesus mean when He said, “Ask for anything in My name and I’ll do it?” (John 14:14). Some believe that this phrase is a magic solution that makes God give us whatever we want. But is that what it means to pray “in” someone’s name? If it does, why doesn’t everybody get a miracle and a brand new house when they use this phrase in prayer? Did Jesus mean that we should pray for physical healings and material goods? Is it sinful to pray for those things? In this short episode of #RedeemingTruth, we'll clear the confusion surrounding what it means to pray “in Jesus’ name.”
