A covenant is a formal agreement or treaty between two parties with each assuming some obligation. In the Bible, it is the arrangement that established the relationship between God and His people.

There are 3 key parts to the covenants God made with his people.:

God’s unconditional acts of provision – God establishes the covenant based on acts of grace.
The covenant stipulations – The covenant is maintained based on relational faithfulness.
The covenant promises or curses – Based on keeping or not keeping the stipulations.
