There’s a chance you’ve heard of Paul. And we’re not talking the guy who beat up Mike Tyson. His words have literally changed the course of human history. Yet, there was a whole decade of his life where he sat in a cave, dejected. Away from the ministry that God called him to. But that whole time, he was building character. He was building endurance and perseverance which builds not only character, but hope (Romans 5:3-5). Maybe like Paul, you feel like you’ve faced only failures. (We hear the kids are calling it a “slump era”). But if you can persevere and keep running the race God has for you, you can have real, lasting hope. Keep going.
