Jesus told the disciples their sorrow would be turned into joy. Joy is something that comes from God and not mere men. We have to be able to endure the sorrow that comes from telling the truth so that we can have joy with God. We must confront people with the truth so that they can come to sorrowful repentance. Sorrowful repentance is Godly repentance and reconciles people to God.
