1. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, since becoming a Christian, what are some lessons that God has had to teach you over and over again? If you are not a Christian, what are some things that you would want to change about yourself but you find difficult to do so?
2. Moses used the examples of God's deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt, God's discipline of the Israelites in the wilderness, and God's future gift of the land of promise as reasons that should motivate the Israelite to love and obey the LORD. Are there specific reasons in your life that motivate you to have a deeper relationship with Jesus? If you can't think of any, shouldn't there be? And what are those reasons?
