Given a Shepherd / Stone!
Genesis 49:22-28
Jacob / Israel prophecies over his son Joseph and tells him that that Almighty God will be with him, God shall be a Shepherd and a Stone (Gen 49:24). He also will pour out blessing from heaven and on earth and will give him a crown (Gen 49:25-26). Disciple Principle: If we will just have faith and trust in Jesus Christ, He will be our Shepherd and our Stone, that we need to build our lives on. Remember: Christ is the Cornerstone for which everything we do should be built upon (Is 28:16, Matt 21:42, Mark 12:10, Luke 20:17, Acts 3:11, Rom 9:33, 1 Pet 2:6-8, Eph 2:20).
