“And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” (Matthew 12:49-50) In this series, we've been talking about us being made in God's Image. God is also making the church in His Image. God is making us into a family. That’s what God does. The community of the beloved - who is LOVED and uniquely shown the devotion of God in order to make us into a mission-driven community in the world. As you are loved, so love. As you are shown devotion, so be devoted to one another. As God has honored you, so honor one another.
