The Bible's Proverbs are practical advice from God, and in 3:33 he warns us that "The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just." This proverb applies personally and nationally, to you and your family, your soul and your property, etc. Our human condition causes us to begin life in ignorance of God's spiritual laws, and our fatal flaw is that we tend to mistake God's love for abuse, because we dont know his heart and mind, nor how differently he thinks from the way we think, because he is holy and immortal, while we are flawed and flesh. And because God is so merciful, he allows us to wander and sin without immediately judging us, not annihilating us but patiently teaching us and coaxing us in the right direction, gently or violently as appropriate in each case, like a loving father would; and yet we hate to listen. Most often we mistake God's pateince and mercy for his absence or disinterestedness. No, God hasnt ignored you, nor did he ever screw up. You did, so now consult his words of wisdom to find out where you went wrong.

Here Graham Lucas explains the stark distinction between light and darkness which is revealed and probed in the book of Proverbs, hinging his sermon around one of the most essential keys to victory in life that are to be found therein, which is Proverbs 3:33. I am very fond of Graham Lucas and not the least bothered by his thick Irish accent, because he speaks as a man who has actually received the wisdom of God and is therefore an excellent teacher, a humble and repentant father who of he tells it like it is. This exposition also touches on Proverbs chapters 1 and 2, and other corroborating Biblical lessons. This message will change your life for for the better, if you will receive it.
