What can WE accomplish through faith in God's word? As we conclude this thrilling chapter and consider some of the champions of faith we clearly see what is possible for us! Let us lift our eyes above ourselves and fix them firmly upon the promises of God. He has given us every provision for every need in every situation. May we, like the faithful recorded here, esteem the "reproach of Christ" greater riches than the treasures of this world. The Bible plainly tells us though, that these all died in faith and "did not receive the promise." The thrilling promise of eternal life and inheriting the world will be realized by the faithful of all ages together when Jesus comes again. May we each grasp this glorious promise by faith and be part of that faithful group.
