Jesus suffered much shame and reproach. The Hebrew Christians should not be surprised to receive the same. And even us today, we are often fooled into thinking that the world loves Christians, but this is simply not the case. Don’t be shocked when you suffer in various ways for being a Christian, instead be prepared. Rejoice, as the Disciples did, and keep on persevering until you reach Heaven. Also, much thought should be given to how we are to continually offer the sacrifice of praise and to rejoice always. I would challenge you to think about how you can become a better worshipper of the one who suffered, died, and took the wrath of God on your behalf.
