Marriage is to be held in honored, treasured, and protected by all.
Christians are to honor marriage because God does. The world does not honor marriage, nor does it honor God’s rule for sexual intimacy. The world view sexual immorality, fornication, and even adultery as no big deal. However, God says such a person should expect the judgment and wrath of God. Fornication and adultery are enemies of marriage. Christians are to guard their marriages before and after marriage by living within God’s design of sexual morality.
