Deborah has relayed to Barak that he was to gather together an army to defeat Sisera of the Canaanites, the peoples that had been oppressing Israel. Barak said that he would, only if Deborah went with him. She did, with the caveat saying that he wouldn't get the glory of killing Sisera, for he would fall at the hands of a woman. And so, in battle, Barak's army, which was smaller and less powerful than Sisera's army defeated Sisera. How come this was able to happen? In Lesson 11 of our study of Judges we learn the answer to this question.
