Decisions, decisions, decisions — Life is full of decisions.

In Proverbs 3 we will see that God gives us very clear steps to keep in mind when making life decisions.

In this text, Solomon spells out for us a vitally important truth for life: How to make wise decisions.

The underlying truth of this text is simply this: Life at its best can only be experienced when you learn to trust God beyond what you can understand.

The teaching focus is on knowing and doing God’s will and it breaks down like this:

Trust God …
1. With everything – “Trust in the LORD with all your heart …”
2. Above everything – “… and do not lean on your own understanding.”
3. In everything – “In all your ways acknowledge him …”
4. Through everything – “… and he will make straight your paths.”
