The Pastor’s Welcome.

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

If you live, or are visiting in the Hague area of the Netherlands, you are most welcome to join the Trinity International family on Sundays at 10.30am for Sunday Worship. There is a nursery for little children, Sunday School for older children and a youth group for teenagers.

We are recognised as a church where God’s Word is faithfully proclaimed and applied to life today. We are also an international congregation, with people from all over the world and we seek to find our unity and identity in Jesus Christ and in his Word. We are unashamedly Christ-centred and Bible-focussed in what we do. Our supreme purpose is to glorify God and to worship and enjoy him forever.

My wife Gillian and I come from South Africa, where we served Baptist congregations for 24 years. In 2010, we were called to serve an International Baptist Church in Germany. In 2015 we answered God’s call to serve Trinity in the Netherlands. Here I serve together with the Elders, who take care of the Spiritual direction and care of the church. Together we provide guidance and leadership to the congregation. The various ministries of the church are led by Deacons/deaconesses. Church members are responsible for electing leaders, approving the budget and other major aspects of church life. We aim to be completely transparent and accountable in matters of church finances and the use of our resources.

As a church our God-given mission is to make disciples of all nations. How we seek to obey this mandate, can be found in our strategic objectives for the next few years:

God-glorifying Worship. That is based on God’s Word, brings us into an encounter with Jesus and glorifies God. Knowing and applying God’s Word. We seek to promote this through preaching that ensures that the point of the passage of Scripture is the point of the message.

By growing in our love for God’s Word. Through personal growth in your walk with the Lord. By developing Biblically equipped leaders and members. Through marriages and families that are grounded on God’s Word and bring glory to God. Through Small groups and Bible studies that focus on studying the Bible.

Building genuine community in Christ. Through closer relationships with one another and caring for one another. We have Small groups and Bible studies throughout the area we serve.

Transforming the International Community through the saving grace of Jesus. Through reaching key segments of the English speaking International community. Through involving more people in our outreach to refugees.
