The scriptures inform us that the man Christ Jesus is not currently sitting on the throne of God in heaven but that he will sit on the throne of David at his second coming. Inspired scripture calls the throne of David “the throne of Yahweh” (1 Chronicles 29:23) and “the throne of God and of the Lamb” (Revelation 22:3).
