Thousands of years ago God came up with a way to group information together for those studying topics in the Bible. Today we use hashtags; in the Bible God used phrases. In Isaiah 13:6 God uses the phrase, “Day of the Lord”, to signal that Isaiah is describing an event that must happen BEFORE Christ can return.

This phrase is used all throughout the prophets when describing events that will take place BEFORE the return of Jesus Christ.

Correctly understanding what Isaiah is describing in Isaiah chapter 13 is the key to understanding a major theme that is mentioned in the Bible.

God has allowed me to understand that there will be major events that will lead up to Christ return and we live in the last generation that will either witness or experience these events.
