Jerome's 4th century translation of the word ἑωσφόρος (eosphoros) is inaccurate. Nowhere in either the Greek nor the "Hebrew" ancient texts does the word "light" show up in Isaiah 14:12. Jerome's error in adding the word "light" φῶς to a passage that does not even have the word "light" in the original text has been a source of confusion and error since it was introduced in the 4th century AD, and this clip of Max Egan's philosophy serves as a good example of how this mistranslation has almost made 2 Cor 11:14 a fulfilled prophecy...
