In our last study, we saw after the judgment on the nations, we see Him bringing restoration. This shows us both God’s sovereignty and His mercy. We know that if we are in relationship with the Lord, He will fight for us and we should not fear, no matter what comes at us. We saw a picture of the new heaven and the new earth in His presence and free from everything in this world. In this week’s study, we see the king of Assyria sending his mouthpiece to intimidate and warn Judah that he will come and take them captive.
