Lord, thank you for your promise of blessing. We are sorry for our selfishness. We do not take notice of those who are in need, while we care of ourselves. People are thirsty for love and care. All of us want to be recognized and accepted. Every one of us need to be forgiven. We look for relationship. But it is so hard to find it. We feel lonely during waking in a crowd. There are so many people just passing by, but no one knows us, no one cares about what happens in our lives. Oh Lord, give us courage to take one more step closer to someone. We cannot be a friend of everybody, but we can be a friend of someone who needs us. Help us to build our relationships where we can practice loving others, where we can experience forgiveness, and where we can feel your presence. In Jesus name, amen.
