We thank God and glorify Him only for He is leading a lowly and humble congregation with all grace, protection, Holy Spirit and required last days sermons.
This sermon would also help any and all believers who prepare themselves for the coming of our Lord.
Today's Topic: It's Pain before Reign
Romans 8:17,18
And if children, then heirs namely, heirs of God and also fellow
heirs with Christ–if indeed we suffer with him so we may also be glorified with him.
For I consider that our present sufferings cannot even be compared to the coming glory that will be revealed to us.
It is much required for us to go through this suffering to enter the kingdom of God; Acts 14:22
without suffering there is no glory, we Christians do not worry about our suffering but rejoice in it and seek the glory from God.
1. If we suffer with Him, We shall also receive Glory with Him. Romans 8:18
2. If we suffer with Him, We shall also Reign with Him. 2 Timothy 2:12
3. If we suffer with Him, We shall also Rejoice with Him. 1 Peter 4:13
If God loves us why should He allow suffering, what are the core reason for God to allow us walk through suffering?
The bible reveals us many secret for God allowing suffering in a believer's life and few important reason have been covered in this sermon.
Purpose of Suffering:
1. Suffering proves our worthiness- 1 Peter 1:6-7;
2. Suffering builds true inner person Romans 5:3-5;
3. Suffering affirms our spiritual walk- Philp 3:10
4. Suffering supplies God's strength that we could supply for others who are suffering. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4;
According Ecc 3:1-8; God has set time for all things there is time to mourn and time for joy, there is time to cry and time to laugh,
there is time to sow and there is time to reap; hence this is time for true believer to suffer and inherit the glory very soon at the glorious return of Christ.
The sermon has a classic Example being covered for gladly and willingly accepting suffering and chose to enjoy the glory later the example is none other than Moses man of God who spoke to God face to Face and wished to See Face.
In Hebrews 11:24-26; By faith, when he grew up, Moses refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to be ill-treated with the people of God than to enjoy sin’s fleeting pleasure.
He regarded abuse suffered for Christ to be greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for his eyes were fixed on the reward.
Moses who chose to suffer with God's people instead of enjoying sin's fleeting pleasure and How did God glorified him, or How did God blessed Moses;
God with Moses was recognized by the entire Egypt, Israel, Joshua, etc. God's glory was reflected on his face and people were not able to see Moses face.
Moses wished to see God's face but God made HIS glory pass and let him see it not HIS Face. however God had that wish of Moses in His heart and let him see it in later days.
In Matthew 17 When Jesus was on Mt. Transfiguration Jesus was transformed and was in full of glory and Moses now saw the face of God (Jesus) and that's how God glorified Moses who chose to suffer instead of sin's fleeting pleasure.
That's the glory that we share with the Lord Jesus when we chose to suffer for His name sake, for His gospel sake and for His kingdom sake.
Paul said to Timothy his spiritual son in 2 Tim 2:13 "Take your share of suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus"
We need to take our share of suffering to take share in His glory.
Take Heart Jesus said there is suffering in this world But Jesus overcame and promised to be with us that we too could overcome this world.
Hope this sermon helps you to make wise choice to suffer for Christ sake, for Righteousness sake and then the Glory comes.
It's PAIN before REIGN!
God Bless You!
