Job hopes in a resurrection where the Lord will bring him out of the depths of death into God's own presence. It is personal and transformative. If it weren't, Job would remain in the sins that sentenced his flesh to death in the first place. Our resurrection must remove us from sin and purify us before God. It is not as though we have never committed sin, we have. When we come into the resurrection, our sin will be removed from us to never again haunt us. There can be no resurrection without the resolution of sin.
