***Correction: The correct text for the sermon is: Job 42:1-17, not Job 41:1-17.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we are providing you with a special edition recording of our Sunday sermon, which includes an opening prayer, Scripture reading, two songs from our worship team (at the beginning and end of the sermon) and the sermon.

In this concluding sermon of our study in the book of Job, we learn how God is both a God of reconciliation and restoration because of HIs Son Jesus Christ.

Questions to Discuss:

1. How does the final chapter in the book of Job bring hope to every situation we will ever face in this life?

2. In Sunday’s sermon we learned that full repentance not only includes acknowledging the sin in our lives, but also the greatness of God. Why do we need both to be present when we confess our sins to God?

3. At the end of the book, Job offers a prayer and sacrifice for his friends who had insulted and mistreated him. How does the forgiveness of Jesus Christ in our own lives empower us to forgive those who have wronged us?
