Today’s question has to do with John 3:13 which is written in the King James Bible as follows:
“And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.”

In the context, Christ is speaking to Nicodemus. So, the question is, if Christ is standing on the earth and says “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven,” how can Christ who is on the earth tell Nicodemus “I’m in Heaven?”

First of all, He’s God! And we know that God is omnipresent. And, even we, the Body of Christ in this age of grace, Paul writes that “our conversation is in Heaven” and he said that “we are seated together in heavenly places in Christ.” So there is a spiritual sense that we believers, though our bodies are on earth, are joined with the Lord in heaven.

You can certainly understand the omnipresence of the Lord or it is possible that the discussion between Nicodemus and the Lord ends in verse 12.
