The bible is full of promises of gifts which God has promised to gives us out of His grace. Some say that we should merely name and claim these promises. But we cannot receive the things of God of our own accord. We can name and claim until we grow old and die, but if we do not actually receive the promised objects we have no right to claim we possess them. We cannot receive the things of God unless they are given.
