Exodus 14:31-15:1 - Israel saw the great power that the Lord used against the Egyptians, so the people feared the Lord, and they believed in the Lord and in his servant Moses. Then Moses and the people of Israel sang this song to the Lord, saying, "I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously..."
Revelation 5:9 - And they sang a new song, saying, "worthy are you to take the scroll...and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation
Ephesians 6:12 - For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
John 1:5 - The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
As we rejoice in Christ's victory, we battle the spiritual forces that work against the good news.
Judges 4:14 - And Deborah said to Barak, "Up! For this is the day in which the Lord has given Sisera into your hand. Does not the Lord go out before you?
Exodus 14:23-25 - The Egyptians pursued and went in after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. And in the morning watch the Lord in the pillar of fire and of cloud looked down on the Egyptians forces and threw the Egyptian forces into a panic, clogging their chariot wheels so that they drove heavily. And the Egyptians said, "Let us flee from before Israel, for the Lord fights for them against the Egyptians."
Exodus 15:3-6 - The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is his name. "Pharaoh's chariots and his host he cast into the sea, and his chosen officers were sunk in the Red Sea. The floods covered them; they went down into the depths like a stone. Your right hand, O Lord, glorious in power, your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy.
In times like these, God is looking for those who will continue to pray and not lose heart.
Titus 3:10-11 - As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.
We praise God that He is able to work through us even when we are far from perfect or unified.
