Today’s historical lesson is about a judge of Israel, named Samson. Several judges had issues related to their faith and obedience, and Samson was certainly one of them. Since five chapters of judges are devoted to Samson, we know more about him than the others. Most people are familiar with Samson, the strong man of the bible. In spite of some serious character flaws Samson was nevertheless used by God. However, our flaws should not be used as an excuse to fall short of our full potential, for we do realize that there is always room for spiritual growth
