When we start to worry about the future, God reminds us to look up to Him - He is Jehovah Jireh and He will provide for all of our needs.

“And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?” (Luke 12:25) Jesus tells us not to worry or doubt God’s providence in our lives.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“...neither be ye of doubtful mind...your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.” (Luke 12:29-30) God knows what we need and He promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Instead of worrying, we ought to use our energy to seek God’s kingdom first, committing our cares into His hands through prayer and walking closely with our Saviour.

Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When we fix our minds on God and make it a priority to seek Him by reading His Word and praying, God promises to give us the desires of our hearts. When we are walking with God, we will desire what He desires for us.

“Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” (Psalm 37:4)

Let us love God and seek Him everyday! The Lord is always with us. He who has seen us through this year will see us through the next. “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” (Psalm 37:25)
