Colossians is a wonderful epistle with only four chapters, but they are four very powerful and very rich chapters! It is an epistle that was as relevant to the church at Colosse as it is relevant for the church of the 21st century. The heretical teaching that was going on in the church at Colosse is the same heretical teaching going on in our churches today – the heretical teaching of Gnosticism.
