Lent is a time of inner reflection and self-examination of our bodies, minds and souls. As we journey with Jesus, there will be times of devotion, debate, deliberation and discovery. It’s a matter of discernment in how we hear from God and then the expectation of taking action after wards. On this journey, we will encounter conflict and confusion, but also compassion if we stay aligned with Jesus on the journey.

Throughout the 40 days of Lent, we get to live the experiences and make decisions about our level of commitment to Christ as we search for a deeper faith and intimacy with Christ.

“For God’s Sake” is God’s plea of yearning that tomorrow will be different from today: tomorrow we will be reunited as one.
