Our study of King David’s Life and Lessons Living should both encourage us and equip us to, despite our personal faults and failures, to pursue God with a passion.

In this series of messages, we explored David’s life from his being the not so obvious choice of Jesse’s sons to be the next king of Israel. We examined his heroics on the battlefield in defeating Goliath and David's world renowned sin with Bathsheba. We even studied David's desire to build God a great Temple in Jerusalem, and God's telling him “no,” that his son Solomon would be the one to build it.

The fact that through all his spiritual highs and lows, when David’s life came to an end God said of him, in Acts 13:22 “David … a man after my heart, who will do all my will.”

Wow! What it be like to have that said of you?
