The devotional that I use uses the Good News Translation, but I've encountered multiple verses that is different from what I'm used to reading in King James Version, or New International Version. I recommend that when you arrive at a verse that reads different from your memory, look it up and think about it and spend time to research it more (biblegateway.com or biblehub.com are good)! May you commit Scripture to memory, so that it penetrates your heart, and may the Holy Spirit guide you as you seek God through reading His Word!
"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13)
