Today’s Verse: Mark 9:23 (NKJV)
“Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.’”

Today is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Around the world, believers are suffering for their faith in Jesus Christ more now than at any other time in history. In nations across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, thousands are being imprisoned, tortured, and killed simply for bearing His name.

When Jesus said, “All things are possible to him who believes,” He wasn’t promising a life of ease or comfort. He was declaring that faith in God makes it possible to stand firm even in suffering, even unto death. The persecuted church lives this truth daily. They are living proof that faith can overcome fear.

So today, let’s join together in prayer for our brothers and sisters around the world. Pray for strength, courage, and peace for those facing persecution. Pray that their witness would awaken hearts—even among their persecutors to the saving power of Jesus Christ. And may the comfort of God surround His people as they stand firm for His name.
