Today’s Verse: 1 Kings 19:18 (NKJV)
“Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.”

When Elijah felt alone, defeated, and ready to give up, God reminded him that he was not the only one standing for truth. There were still seven thousand others who had not bowed to Baal. In his moment of despair, Elijah learned that God’s faithful remnant still stood strong.

We often feel the same way, especially when righteousness seems to be losing and evil appears to be winning. But God always has His people. He is still on the throne, still working, still preserving those who remain faithful. Even when we don’t see the victory, God’s plan is unfolding perfectly.

So today, be encouraged. You are not alone in this battle for truth. God has His people everywhere standing, praying, and persevering. Keep fighting the good fight, stay in His Word, and remember: even if you were the last one standing, you’d still be the majority, because God is with you.
