This message was given on Sunday morning, September 2, 2018 at Blue River Community Church. From our passage we discussed three different relational perspectives. First, in verses 12-17 we saw how God's people are to relate with one another. Second, from verses 18-21, we talked about how the people of Israel reacted to God. Finally, in verses 22-26 we concluded with how God responded to His people. What application does this passage have in the lives of believers today? What can we learn from the Israelite's choice to put a barrier between them and God? Does fearing the Lord just mean a high reverence or does it mean actual fear? Do we honor others the way God honors people? May this sermon encourage you in your walk with the Lord!
