LTUTP-0020 … Matthew 6:12; 1 John 1:8-10 ... “Forgive us”
1 John 1:8-10 is like a spiritual "Oreo" ... verse 8 and 10 reveal our darkened hearts - that we are sinners. Verse 9 is snuggled between with pure goodness - the forgiveness of God! Yet the acceptance of this forgiveness necessitates a confession of the sin.
