LTUTP-0334 … 1 Corinthians 11:3-16 ... "Every man praying having a covered head, dishonors his head"
How do I respond when the Word of God contradicts the cultural norms or accepted practices of my day? In the midst of his teaching regarding the structure of, and submission to, authority, Paul mentions how the practice of prayer is affected. Paul declares that "every man praying or prophesying having his head covered, dishonors his head." He then goes on to reveal that this standard is based upon the creative order of God.
