Mark 12:18-27

VERSE OF THE DAY: Jesus replied, "Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God?" —Mark 12:24

Jesus continues his dicey discourse with the scribes and Pharisees, who keep trying to trap him. Right after talking about paying taxes to Caesar (and giving to God what belongs to God!), He turns around, and nails the Sadducees about the Resurrection and just straight up tells them they're wrong!

REFLECTION:
• KNOW God’s Word.
• Become familiar with it. Let it be like an old friend to you. Spend time together. Go there for daily instructions.
• KNOW God’s Power.
• Be in His presence to experience His power. That might happen in prayer
alone but it also commonly happens in worship and prayer together.
