While we Christians all know the phrase “Take up your cross and follow Me”, It doesn’t really have as much of an impact don’t think it fully sinks in our day because of the terminology. Certainly, we know Jesus died on a cross, but since we don’t have crucifixion today it doesn’t make as big an impact.
